Food Lion, LLC connects with customers to raise funds in support of Easter Seals services.

Food Lion, LLC is celebrating their 18th consecutive year supporting Easter Seals. In 2008 Food Lion, Bloom, Bottom Dollar Food and Reid’s raised an astounding $3,035,000 in just four weeks.

This year, customers can again join hands with Food Lion to support the critical services that last year supported over 35,000 children and adults with disabilities served by Easter Seals in areas where Food Lion, LLC has a presence.

Customers have three ways to support Easter Seals through the Food Lion, LLC Shop&Care campaign:

Beginning February 4th through March 3rd customers making a $1.00 contribution to Easter Seals will receive a hang tag booklet containing $8.00 in money-saving coupons from Kraft Foods. Kraft will make a 50 cent contribution to Easter Seals -- up to $250,000.

Additional money-saving offers will be made available through Campbell’s, and as a special offer Food Lion is contributing 25 cents to Easter Seals for each case of Food Lion bottled water sold -- up to $250,000.

And finally, customers can feel good about giving through the Shop&Care program by simply making a contribution at any Food Lion, Bloom, Bottom Dollar Food and Reid’s stores.
